3D Printing Saves the Day!
Share
A local manufacturing company wanted a solution for a light shield that would stop a light sensor picking up ambient sunlight but also be easily adjustable.
Their design team already had a solution with a cardboard mockup in place but were being quoted times of up to 4 weeks for a small piece of sheet metal and the customer would be here soon!
While the paper and cardboard mockup might have done the job and won a Blue Peter badge, it's no substitute for a much more professional-looking plastic alternative.
I was able to print and deliver a working prototype the following day. 3D Printing to the rescue!
